About us

Established in 2025, Cut + Roll Films develops film and television rooted in distinctive voices, emotionally authentic characters and stories that explore the complexities of the human experience.

Our work is drawn to people and communities whose experiences are often misunderstood, overlooked or simplified on screen. Whether working in elevated genre, prestige drama or commercially accessible storytelling, we prioritise emotional truth, strong character perspectives and meaningful audience connection.

Through partnerships with charities, advocacy groups and community organisations, we seek to ensure our stories create meaningful engagement beyond the screen while remaining commercially relevant and accessible to broad audiences.

We believe audiences connect most deeply with stories that feel honest, distinctive, and rooted in the communities they represent. By combining creative ambition with rigorous development and authentic collaboration, we create work that resonates emotionally, sparks conversation and remains culturally relevant long after release.

Our vision

We make bold, character-driven stories that entertain, challenge and stay with people.

As a female-founded independent production company, we champion distinctive voices and stories that tackle stigma, challenge perceptions and spark conversation.

We're building a slate of ambitious film and television projects with exceptional talent and creative partners — making work that has both cultural impact and commercial potential.

Our ambition is to build a lasting home for filmmakers and stories that matter.
